The sports system is witnessing many successes

Youth Minister witnesses the collaboration Protocol with cred to support medalist champions at Paris 2024 Olympics

The Minister of Youth and Sports، Dr. Ashraf Sobhy، has witnessed today، the signing of a collaboration protocol between the Ministry and cred، the real estate development company; To support medalist heroes Paris 2024 Olympics، in the presence of Eng. Ahmed Mansour، the CEO of cred، in addition to grand executives from the ministry and cred، and journalists and media figures.

Under this protocol، cred agrees to financially award gold، silver، and bronze medalists during the tournament in cooperating and organizing with the ministry. Gold medalists will be awarded 1 million EGP، whilst the silver medalists will receive 500،000 EGP and the bronze medalists will receive 250،000 EGP. The champions will also be honored at another press conference in Egypt after their return from the 2024 Paris Olympics.

 The Minister of Youth and Sports stressed the importance of following His Excellency President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi's directives to support our sports heroes، stating: "The sports system is witnessing many successes thanks to the support of the political leadership and the eagerness of the Egyptian players to provide their best performance، which culminates in the achievement of various titles." 

“The importance of cooperation between the government and the private sector and concerted all efforts to support them financially and psychologically—must be given through programs and camps. Egypt already has a national program that serves as an aid for its athletes whilst also discovering fresh talent throughout the country. At the end of the day، these players reflect Egypt and our aim is to always be presented by the best there is.”، the minister added.

Dr. Ashraf Sobhi explained that the Ministry continually provides direct financial support to sports federations to cover the costs of preparing players technically for all international، regional، continental، and Arab sports leagues، as well as sponsorship programs offered in cooperation with private sector associations.

Collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports

Eng. Ahmed Mansour، CEO of cred also expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports، and for practical participation in supporting sports talents in the country، stating: “Encouraging and supporting young people in their pursuits is a duty for all of us. This collaboration is part of cred's social target that aims to support the Egyptian state's efforts to create a generation of globally competitive heroes.”

The protocol was signed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports، Dr. Mohammed Al Kurdi، Head of the Central Sports Performance Department، and by cred Eng. Mohamed Maher، the vice of cred’s CEO.

In the presence of the members of parliament Mohammed Al-Jarhi، Deputy Nasser Hidaya، Mohammed Al-Slab، and a group of leaders of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
