Cairo Festival City Mall hosts Diarna Exhibition for the third year، showcasing 400 exhibitors

Cairo Festival City Mall opened its doors to the third edition of Diarna Exhibition، a highly-anticipated event that celebrates and promotes Egyptian products in the presence of H.E. Dr. Nivine El Kabbaj، Minister of Social Solidarity، H.E. Dr. Ali El Moselhi، Minister of Supply and Internal Trade، H.E. Dr. Yasmine Fouad، Minister of Environment، H.E. Major-General Hisham Amna، Minister of Local Development، H.E. Dr. Reda Hegazy، Minister of Education and Technical Education، H.E. Engineer Mahmoud Esmat، Minister of Public Business Sector، H.E. Mr. Mohamed Abbas Helmy، Minister of Civil Aviation، Christian Berger، Head of the European Union Delegation to Egypt، Mr. Marco Elio Rottigni، Head of International Subsidiary Banks at Intesa Sanpaolo and Mr. Dante Campioni، ALEXBANK’s CEO & Managing Director. 

This year's exhibition was proudly supported by the Ministry of Social Solidarity، ALEXBANK’s CSR flagship initiative “Ebda Men Masr”، and Sawiris Foundation for Social Development - providing an opportunity to support exhibitors and craftsmen and their handicrafts across Egypt to showcase their talents. The exhibition was held from February 23rd through March 11th!

 Egypt's handicraft industry

Since its inception in 1964، Diarna Exhibition has been one of the oldest and most prestigious exhibitions to support handicrafts and preserve traditional arts from extinction، representing economic، heritage، and cultural value. The exhibition plays an important role in supporting Egypt's handicraft industry by promoting handmade products made by artisans and hundreds of thousands of productive families across the country. 

Cairo Festival City Mall has been proud to present Diarna Exhibition، featuring 400 exhibitors and focusing on increasing economic independence among those with disabilities. The exhibition also celebrated local talents from all walks of life while educating people about ecological initiatives — building a strong foundation for CFC Mall's empowerment and social responsibility endeavors. 

Under the slogan "The One Who Built Egypt Was Originally a Craftsman"، Diarna Exhibition proudly featured and showcased the unique artistry and craftsmanship from Siwa Oasis and refugee craftsmen، honoring those making significant contributions to building Egypt’s culture، alongside the support of environmental friendly organizations for these efforts.

Cairo Festival City Mall continues to strive for excellence، ensuring that Egyptian talent and creativity are always in the spotlight. In this light، CFC Mall has recently teamed up with Vogue Italia to hold Cairo Fashion Experience، its scouting program، designed to empower and enable emerging Egyptian designers، through an exclusive opportunity of being mentored by Vogue Italia. In addition، finalists were allowed to exhibit their collections، during the Milan Fashion Week at VogueRama event and will get the chance to display their collection at Festival Avenue، the new luxury expansion of Cairo Festival City Mall (CFC Mall)، through a pop-up display dedicated to their collections.
