Mountain View Launches “The Lighthouse” To Be the First Project to Develop the Skills of Individuals and Applies the Science of Happiness in Egypt and the Middle East

Based on its mission of "Together building a lighthouse to inspire towards meaningful، happy communities"، Mountain View announced the launch of The Lighthouse in Mountain View Ras El Hikma on the North Coast during the summer of 2023. The Lighthouse is the first experiential happiness destination and innovative community development hub in Egypt and the Middle East dedicated to community happiness and provides activities and workshops to develop skills and stimulate creativity while applying the science of happiness.

Prioritizing the human aspect

The launch of The Lighthouse supports Mountain View's strategy to establish communities that put the human aspect at the top of their priorities. Building on its human-centric approach، The Lighthouse represents a new chapter in the company’s quest to create spaces that go beyond mere living، fostering an environment where people can truly thrive and find purpose. The innovative concept of The Lighthouse will be implemented in Mountain View’s East and West projects in Cairo during the last quarter of this year.

The Lighthouse allows individuals to choose the workshops that suit them after they are invited to complete a 40-question survey based on the happiness index and know their interests، strengths، and desires. Residents and visitors applicants join workshops customized to develop their skills and personalities based on their actual needs after identifying the points of weakness that they need to work on in The Happiness Index. The activities and workshops that take place through The Lighthouse are based on the five truths of happiness developed by Jenn Lim، Co-founder of Delivering Happiness and Beyond Happiness، which contribute to achieving the vision of Mountain View، which combines spreading happiness with self-development.

The Lighthouse witnessed a great turnout of visitors to participate in a diverse array of activities and workshops such as cooking، drawing، fashion-related workshops، playing musical instruments، handicrafts، and other sports and art activities. These events and workshops are tailored to cater to the needs of the family and are compatible with their different age groups.
