Deputy Foreign Minister and Egypt’s ambassador to the UK inaugurate the 20th Nile Property Expo in London alongside leading real estate CEOs
Nabil Habashi, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates, and Ashraf Swelam, Ambassador of Egypt to the United Kingdom, inaugurated the 20th edition of Nile Property Expo in London.
The exhibition is being held at the London Hilton on Park Lane under the patronage of Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly.
The opening ceremony was attended by Ahmed Shalaby, Chairman of the Housing, Public Utilities and Urban Development Committee of the Egyptian House of Representatives, as well as chief executives and senior representatives from participating real estate companies.
Attendees included Eng. Amgad Hassanein, Vice Chairman of Housing and Development Properties (HDP); Eng. Mohamed Anwar, CEO of TOREC Developments; Bedeir Rizk, CEO of Paragon | Adeer; and Dalia El Kordy, Chief Commercial Officer of A Capital Holding, in addition to senior executives from Soma Bay, Nations of Sky, Orascom Development, El Gouna, and Horizon Egypt Developments.
The 20th edition of the exhibition is being held from 27 to 28 June 2026. It has attracted strong visitor traffic since its opening, with attendees showing keen interest in the developments on display and the exclusive offers presented by participating developers.
The London edition brings together many of Egypt’s leading real estate developers, including Tatweer Misr, ORA Developers, Nations of Sky, Orascom Development, El Gouna, Soma Bay, HDP, PARAGON | Adeer, TOREC Developments, Horizon Egypt Developments, and A Capital Holding.
Bassem Kalila, Chairman of Kalila Exhibitions and Conferences, organiser of the Nile Property Expo series, said the strong visitor turnout from the opening hours reflects genuine demand and growing interest in Egyptian real estate among buyers in the United Kingdom.
He said the response validates the company’s strategy of selecting London as a strategic market for promoting Egyptian real estate internationally. He added that participating developers are showcasing a diverse portfolio of projects across high-demand destinations, including the Red Sea, the North Coast, East Cairo, and West Cairo, and are offering exclusive incentives and flexible payment plans throughout the exhibition.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, Nabil Habashi and Ashraf Swelam also met with members of the Egyptian community in London. Discussions focused on issues relevant to Egyptians living abroad and measures aimed at strengthening their ties with Egypt.
Nile Property Expo also participated as an official sponsor and speaker at the Egypt Future Conference, organised by the British Egyptian Business Association earlier this month in London. The conference brought together Egypt’s ministers of housing, finance, and investment, alongside senior government officials and investors from Egypt, the United Kingdom, and other international markets.
Since its launch, Nile Property Expo has established itself as one of the leading platforms connecting Egyptian developers with international buyers. The exhibition has generated strong sales, attracted thousands of visitors across multiple editions, and played an increasingly important role in promoting Egyptian real estate globally as a key driver of foreign currency inflows into Egypt.
Beyond showcasing developments, the platform continues to strengthen investor confidence, generate genuine demand, and facilitate tangible transactions, reinforcing its position as a leading international gateway for Egyptian real estate.
