Next summer must be optimal for holding Cityscape exhibition
The optimal timing for holding Cityscape Egypt, a landmark international real estate exhibition whose March 16, 2020 edition was cancelled, should be the next summer season, according to head of Egyptian Association Businessmen’s Construction Committee Eng. Fatah Allah Fawzi.
“ During the summer season spanning the months of July, August and September, Egyptian expatriates come back to the country to spend the school holidays with their families in Egypt,” said he.
Several foreign experts were supposed to speak about their respective key and successful experiences, he added. “ Four roundtables were scheduled to see the attendance of several developers from Dubai and Egypt among other countries. Topics such as services technologies, real estate funds, industrial lands and mechanism for evaluating lands would have been discussed.”
On the other hand, the managing director of Iwan for Investment and Development Eng. Walid Mokhtar said that suspending Cityscape this year was a right decision although exhibitors have incurred large advertisements losses.
“ These losses ought to be seen as less significant than the harm that would have hit the whole industry in case people came to the exhibition in small numbers.”
While kick-starting its promotion campaigns mid-February, Iwan is set to bring forth more offers and kick-offits own campaigns, he noted.
“ Buying a propertyis the right decision right now in light of remarkable offers currently deployed by companies and a whole slew of new launches. Additionally, it should be right because it anticipates an expected new round of price hikes.”
Moreover, chief executive of City Edge Amgad Hasanein said that any property exhibitions due to take place later on will see astounding demand owing to Egypt’s successful economic reforms which helped interest rates to come down.
