CSCEC donated ventilators and medical supplies of EGP13mln to Egypt
China State Construction Engineering Corporation donated ventilators and medical supplies worth EGP13mln to the Egyptian hospitals in order to encounter Coronavirus pandemic.
CSCEC’s donation was announced in a press conference at the New Administrative Capital andattended by minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Dr. Asem El-Gazzar.
Among the attendees were deputy minister of HUUC for National Projects Eng. Khalid Abbas, Chinese ambassador to Egypt and chairman of CSCEC.
Also, guests included Chinese economic and trade consultant Han Ping, under-secretary of Ministry of Health El-Sayed Mohmed Shawqi, manager of MH’s Hospitals Dr. Ashraf El-Atrepy, alongside senior officials at the Chinese Embassy in Egypt and senior officials of Egypt’s Ministry of Health.
In a speech delivered on the importance of the cooperative relations between the two countries, Dr. Asem El-Gazar lauded the works carried out by CSCEC at NAC’s central area stand as a clear example for collaboration binding Egypt withChina.
“ These works are key to the Egyptianstate’s plan for urban development at NAC.”
CSCEC is implementing the so-called Central Businesses Area consisting of 20 towers including the 385m Iconic Tower, the highest in Africa.
With the aim of generating job opportunities for citizens, building CBA is meant to help create a modern commercial area in a green smart environment.
In 2019, CSCEC ranked 21 in Fortune’s list forthe most powerful companies in the world, and third in China.
