GV Developments appoints Abdel Nasser Taha as their new CEO

GV Developments announced today Eng. Abdel Nasser, former Chairman & CEO of Misr Real Estate Assets Management, as its new Managing Director and CEO.

Taha possesses extensive knowledge and a rich experience of more than 30 years in real estate development and management, where he held numerous managerial positions in several major companies including Misr Real Estate Assets Management, where he played a significant role in the company’s Khedive Cairo project, resetting the organizational structure, registering the project portfolio for the first time, establishing a digital infrastructure, enabling the young calibers’ role in the project, creating new operational mechanisms, and founding a customer service team working to enhance the company´s relationship with customers and investors.

Taha also laid down a distinguished change in management strategy that led to maintaining the portfolio and growing its revenues by increasing acquisitions, asset rehabilitation and leasing instead of assigning or selling and liquidating the company's old assets, which in turn strengthened the company's financial position for the coming years.

Prior to that, Taha was the General Manager of “China Fortune Egypt”, an international leading company inthe development, planning and operation of industrial cities field. He also worked as Senior Development Director at Emaar Misr, responsible “Mivida”.

His track record included working in many Arab countries and the Middle East region, including his work in the office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, the ruler of Dubai; in addition to overseeing the development of many projects, Emaar Developments in the King Abdullah Economic City in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and leading 5 Mega projects in Morocco, Sharjah Airport Hotel and Sharjah Museum.

Taha is a Founder member of a number of international and national organizations and societies, including being the Founder President of the International Real Estate Federation “FIABCI Egypt”, a Founder member of the Board of Directors of the Arab African Organization for Real Estate and Commercial Investments and Development (AAORCID), and he also a member of the task force of the United Nations Cities Program for Sustainable Development working group and many specialized international organizations.

Taha is also the founder and Chairman of "New Concept Investment",which was the consulting company in managing many projects and technical and financial files for economic entities such asCity Edge Developments, Wadi Degla, Nasr City, Arabia, Amlak, TatweerMisr, Future City, Port Ghalib, Wadi Elnile Development.
