Egyptian Company for Cosmetics (ECC), a leading Egyptian manufacturer of cosmetics and nutritional supplements, showcased its capabilities in innovation, manufacturing, and product development during the 11th edition of the International Cosmetic Congress & Exhibition 2026 (ICCE 2026). The event brought together leading experts and specialists from Egypt and around the world across aesthetic medicine, cosmetic surgery, and dermatology, alongside companies and institutions operating across the cosmetics, dermatology, and medical technology sectors.
ECC is advancing a business transformation strategy through 2028, supported by an EGP 2 billion investment plan to evolve the company into an integrated industrial platform spanning R&D, manufacturing, packaging, product registration, and exports. The strategy will strengthen ECC’s capabilities across the product lifecycle and support the development of products for both local and international markets. As part of the plan, EGP 500 million will be allocated to expand nutritional supplements manufacturing capabilities, representing 25% of the total investment. ECC also aims to increase exports to approximately 20% of total sales by 2028, focusing on Gulf and African markets, while building local partnerships that support international expansion and take Egyptian manufacturing expertise into new markets.
As the cosmetics industry evolves through advances in scientific research, technology, and AI, ECC is strengthening its focus on innovation and product development. At ICCE 2026, the company introduced the ECC Innovation Lab, offering visitors an interactive look at technologies across skin and hair analysis, formulation development, and analytical testing. The activation also provided a preview of the ECC Innovation Campus, a strategic initiative designed to connect industry, academia, entrepreneurs, and international experts to foster collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation across the beauty and personal care sectors.
