"With a population density of over 23 million people, Greater Cairo offers numerous appealing investment prospects with actual and rising demand," stated Dr. Ahmed Shalaby, CEO of Tatweer Misr.

"The New Administrative Capital (NAC), New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed, October, and Mostakbal City are just a few of the appealing sites in Greater Cairo that provide significant investment opportunities," he added.

He said this at a symposium on capital mobility on the sidelines of the MIPIM Real Estate Exhibition, which is now taking place in Cannes, France.

Dr. Ahmed Shalaby highlighted Egypt and the investment prospects available there, as well as many of the factors that attract investment, such as high growth rates, which reached 9% in the first half of the current fiscal year and are expected to continue in the second half.

"Greater Cairo encompasses a number of promising places with real investment prospects, like the NAC, New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed, October, Mostakbal City, and other attractive cities in the East and West," he underlined.

"According to a German international website, Greater Cairo ranks first in Africa in terms of factors that attract foreign investment," he pointed out. Tatweer Misr is exhibiting at the MIPIM Exhibition in the Egypt Pavilion.

The Egyptian government, represented by the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, is taking part with a special pavilion that showcases a number of distinctive projects in new cities, including the NAC's central business district, the new Garden City district, and the NAC's central parks, including the 'Green River.' The Egypt Pavilion features a variety of projects in New Alamein City, including the beach towers area, the Latin District, the heritage city, and a number of projects in New Mansoura City. Efforts to develop existing places in old cities, such as the Magra El-Oyoun Fence development project, the Promenade for Egypt's People project, and others, are also featured in the Exhibition.

City Edge, GV, Tarbul, Palm Hills, Mountain View, Sodic, Tatweer Misr, LMD, Castle Landmark, Al-Borouj Misr, Prime, Pavilion, and Okoplan are among the private sector enterprises attending the MIPIM Exhibition.

The Egyptian delegation to the Exhibition includes Eng. Khaled Abbas, Deputy Minister of Housing for National Projects, Eng. Mostafa Abdel Wahab, member of the Minister's technical office, and Eng. Amr Khatab, member of the Minister's technical office.
