The Crowne Plaza West Cairo-Arkan Hotel was ranked in the second place among all hotels in the Arab Republic of Egypt، according to Tripadvisor، the world famous website، in terms of high occupancy and visitor ratings for the level of service and quality، in addition، the hotel was granted by the site a Certificate of Excellence of the month.

The hotel also gained a rating of 8.5 out of 10 on “Booking”،  the world-famous website، which equal to an excellent score based on the visitors’ evaluation as the Booking ratings are “exceptional” for hotels that gain 9.5 out of 10، then “excellent” for a rating of 8.5 and above، “very good” for 8 and above، “good” for 7 and above، and an “average” for hotels that gain 6.5 degrees.

Factors of Distinction

Renewable energy 100% in Arkan Plaza

"Badr El Din" companies are keen to comply with the standards of sustainability in their various projects as it is decided to rely on renewable energy by 100% in "Arkan Plaza"، so a contract was signed with an electricity generation company to implement a solar energy generation plant to supply the project by 2024.

Concerning the Project 205، being implemented by Arkan Palm Real Estate Investment Company، one of Badr El Din's companies، in partnership with the New Urban Communities Authority، the finest details have been taken into account to achieve sustainability with regard to building materials used in all elements of the project، energy sources، services، green areas، and others، so as to fulfill the highest level of quality of life for the customer while preserving the environment.

The "205" project is located on 205 acres in Sheikh Zayed City، and it is the first "downtown" in west Cairo، as well as enjoys southern facade of a kilometer long directly on the 26th of July axis، and northern facade of 1.2 kilometer on Al-Bustan Street.

The company was keen to use the latest raw materials which comply with environmental standards and the mechanisms that are used to generate renewable energy and rationalize resources، for example، groundwater is used in irrigating surfaces، cooling and firefighting as well as all purposes، so that only natural water is relied upon for drinking purposes to ensure the preservation of that vital resource.

It adopted also various mechanisms to generate electricity، not just solar energy and glass is used as well to reduce heat load، ensuring that appliances of Air Conditioner are not used extensively while maintaining a suitable temperature for the winter season.

Environmentally friendly transportation، materials

Environmentally friendly building materials are used، including natural stones، which are more sustainable as its production has less harmful emissions.

It is planned to rely on clean and sustainable means of transportation such as electric cars to reduce carbon emissions.

The "205" project has a river with a length of 2 km surrounding the residential area to separate between the residential and service parts and includes 36 thousand underground parking stands as well as 3 towers with one base on a total area of 250 thousand square meters، with a height of 150 meters and with a total of 45 floors، each floor with an area of 1100 meters.

This project is considered a model for integrated projects which combine residential and services with  commercial، administrative، medical، hotel and entertainment sectors.
